Nokia has finally confirmed the availability of its two gigantic-screen devices alongside the chat edition of the popular Asha 205 in the Kenyan Market. The two Lumia range devices – 1520 and 1320 will be priced at KES69999 and KES37999 consecutively, while Asha Chat 205 will only attract a recommended retail price of about KES6250. Both Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320 comes with a 6inch display panel commonly categorized as phablets which makes them first big-screen Lumia devices in the country. Consumers will not have a color-choice of the Lumia 1520 which is available only in black, but for those who will opt for the cheaper Lumia 1320 will be spoilt for choice either yellow, black or white. And of course we expect these phablets to receive Lumia Black Update as soon as you schedule them.

Nokia Lumia 1520

Praised for its full HD screen with an enhanced start screen that allows for additional third column to house live tiles, Lumia 1520 will let you get to those favorite apps with minimal scrolling here and there. Underneath is Nokia’s own PureView technology which complements a massive 20MP camera, oversampling technology and zooming capabilities, users will easily capture amazing images and edit and edit them while maintaining their high quality. Despite its lower price, Nokia Lumia 1320 houses the same 6inch panel as its sibling plus some decent high-end Lumia additions. Nokia’s top notch apps such as the Nokia Camera and Nokia Storyteller are also included on this device.  Unlike its pricier sibling, Nokia Lumia 1320 comes in three color-choices, Yellow, Black and White.

Nokia Asha Chat 205

A new version of the incredibly popular Nokia Asha 205, the Nokia Asha 205 Chat Edition, has also recently arrived in the Kenyan market. The new device brings WhatsApp to a never seen before price point, with the recommended retail price being just KES 6250.
