Safaricom Partners with Zeraki Learning to offer a Digital Learning Platform for secondary school learners

Safaricom and Zeraki Learning have inked a deal that will see secondary school learners access learning materials on its platform. The service is expected to avail qualified secondary school teachers to learners at a reasonably low cost. This will include informative video lessons as well as additional services at a comparatively affordable rate.

For those who will be utilizing the platform, they’ll have access to various analytics including topic-by-topic assessments as well as additional metrics that will aid in detecting student’s weak areas while tracking their progress.

Speaking on the partnership, Safaricom’s chief executive officer Peter Ndegwa noted the telco had invested in education with various solutions as well as philanthropy that are geared towards ensuring youths in the country are employable. Ndegwa further acknowledged the deal would allow them to avail digital education to learners affordably. He concluded by noting that parents would be better placed in making certain decisions courtesy of the platform.

How to Access and cost of Zeraki Learning via Safaricom

Safaricom has added a touchpoint within MySafaricom App to enable parents and guardians to subscribe for the service for as low as KES 20 a day. The amount can be deducted from customers’ airtime/postpaid bill or via M-PESA. The platform is available in the education section of MySafaricom App under the discover tab and on www.safaricom.com/elimu
