I bet majority of us are yet to make use of some really important services that are already enabled at numerous teller machines countrywide; if you belong to that group that only uses ATM’s to make cash withdrawals, you aren’t alone. Personally, I’ve grown to assume the only and main function for an automated teller machine was to dispense cash for account holders, but ever since I was introduced to making monthly house rent payments at Barclays bank ATM’s, I’ve come to appreciate just how this feature can save you long queues to simply performing these transactions at one’s convenient time with minimal traffic. Having gone through this process for a few months now, rent payment has been so easy, fast and most convenient more ever that I’d be foolish not to share.
I’ve devised a simple guide on how you can make cash deposits at KCB ATM’s without having to visit banking halls that are open only during official working hours or bank agents that might not have enough float to credit your account. Please note not all banks, ATM’s and accounts support this facility, on Barclays bank for example, the account holder must have enabled this service and only currency notes in denominations of Ksh. 1,000 and Ksh. 500 are allowed.
