The Kenyan business community will have an option of choosing the latest Epson’s LX-350 dot matrix printers for their activities after the imaging and innovation leader introduced them in the country. With the intention of beefing-up its presence in the country and effectively tackling increased competition, Epson launched its lx-350 dot matrix printers in the country which are expected to retail around Kshs14000. The printers are suitable for commercial, industrial and logistics applications and are relatively cheaper in comparison making them ideal to consumers in demand of affordable products without compromising on quality.
Mukesh Bector – Epson’s regional sales manager, said the company was introducing products which are not only reliable but tailored to meet the daily needs in an attempt to enhance customer experience. He also added that in line with Epson’s growth ambitions, it was necessary to launch the new printers in the Kenyan market which has a huge potential for growth. “Consumers especially in the emerging markets like Sub-Saharan Africa have constantly expressed the need for saving money while going about their printing businesses, and at the same time increasing their productivity. The LX-350 ensures that these specific needs are met,” Mukesh added.
The LX-350 printers are energy efficient making them very economical than rivals, with power consumption of just over 1 watt in sleep mode and between 24-27 watt when powered.
