Epson will be sponsoring the first edition of Kenya Photography Awards which seeks to honour those who have contributed significantly to the growth and development of photography in Kenya. The event is aimed at appreciating and acknowledging professionals as well as upcoming photographers in Kenya. Winners of the awards will be announced on 26 November 2013 at the KICC in a ceremony that is expected to attract photographers, creative professionals and photo enthusiasts alike. The Kenya Photography Awards is a brainchild of Photographers Association of Kenya together with PAWA 254, a social enterprise through which innovative professionals from diverse artistic fields exploit their creative genius to foster social change.
Epson Kenya will provide the overall winner with a Stylus Photo 1410, a top-quality high-performance A3+ printer for the digital photography enthusiast. In addition, the Stylus photo R2000 and L800 printers will be donated for the event to aid in printing of photos by all attending photographers.
